It provides a nature scenery (that is, landscape) and very detailed foliage and good use of shadows and natural light source of the sun.
3) What is an aspect that could be CHANGED to make it more successful?
Animals should be included.
4) What is the focal point of the artwork? Explain how you know this...
I would say the middle of the river, along with the distant crags and valley.
I think this is so because, not only is it the brightest part of the piece, but the secluded forest, almost tunnel/cave like manner it gives, makes the eyes lead to the "background".
5) What Principle of Art is being utilized in the artwork?
Emphasis, because of the dark contrasting colours of the forest against the bright sky and light mountains.
