A silver/platinum slightly slanted triangular-prism, with the near peak sliced off.
A pink triangle is left on top. At the front surface, at the heading is a pink triangle outline. Two columns of expanding text is engraved below it.
Line is used with the outline of the triangle and also all the faces and
edges of the prism. The form is that of a irregular triangular prism. Color is pink with the platinum/steel giving emphasis to it. It would seem to have a tranquil balance and pleasant symmetry.
3. Discuss why you choose this memorial. Why was this Memorial site/sculpture created?
List 3 facts about this memorial.
Because it has meaning to it and relates to my ancestry.
It was created to honor those who died in the concentration camps of the Holocaust.
-It was placed in Tel Aviv, Israel, Friday, Jan. 10, 2014
-It was focused about the concentration camps during World War II
-The triangle represented the men/woman who wore and was labeled by this symbol.
4. Discuss what you would change about this memorial and why.
Nothing.
It's perfect the was it is.
5. If you had the limitless money/your choice of site…. what type of memorial would you design? for what event/cause and why? what would it look like? where would you put it?
I'm not sure were it would be placed, or how it would look like, but it would be a memorial for all the imagination and wonderful ideas which turn and channeled into inspiration for some form of art or artwork, but when that artist finally went into action, the art disappeared.
It is a memorial for the inspiration, that died.
